WaterMarked: A Story of Loss, Redemption, and Healing Through the Arts is a series of on-going creative endeavors that include original personal narrative stories performed on stage and online, plus published nonfiction essays, and poems.

After a silent flood destroyed 50 years of my fine art and my eclectic collection of art supplies I gave myself a personal and professional challenge: What I create from 2018 forward will only use what was salvaged from or miraculously survived the flood. That vow makes for an exciting creative journey.

WaterMarked inspires life-affirming messages about resiliency and creativity. Some of the nine images below were ruined in the flood (as you can see in the colors weeping), others miraculously survived.

You can view this powerful artist call to action here. She is honored to have her art included. While she created the prints several years ago, their powerful messages resonate today.
