Many years\u00a0ago when I was the Founder and Director of The Center\u00a0for Creativity\u00a0& Wellness, I had a collaborative professional relationship with three psychotherapists. Each of our\u00a0strengths was different. One of us was a\u00a0therapist\u00a0who specialized\u00a0in substance abuse and recovery,\u00a0another was a marriage and family\u00a0therapist who also led Sacred Circle Dances, and a third was a therapist who was a practitioner of shamanism. I provided the healing arts of natural\u00a0energy\u00a0healing, dreamwork, and meditation for my clients and students. Our professional\u00a0foursome\u00a0published quarterly newsletters,\u00a0and mailed them as a unit to our clients. We called our\u00a0multi-pronged\u00a0marketing “cross-pollination.”<\/p>\n
We embraced our diversity and that attitude served us, and our clients\u00a0well. Potential clients were introduced, in very user-friendly\u00a0ways, to new modalities\u00a0of healing and personal development. This collaborative approach can be applied in any business\u00a0or walk of life.<\/p>\n
