At a local flower show we saw competitions for complex garden\/art related theme exhibits\u00a0and witnessed the Best in Show simple floral blossoms in\u00a0minimalistic containers. My mom introduced me to several of her friends, we watched bees\u00a0working in\u00a0their hive, and enjoyed the day. Before\u00a0leaving to bring\u00a0her back to her apartment\u00a0I stopped in the Women&#8217;s room. What greeted me was a most unexpected surprise.<\/p>\n<p>A\u00a0glass vase full of calla lilies sat poised on a countertop in front\u00a0of a mirror, next to a dramatic\u00a0frosted\u00a0window.\u00a0For me, this was the best display\u00a0of the entire\u00a0flower\u00a0show! Taking out my new\u00a0smartphone (a Mother&#8217;s Day gift from my sweet husband) I quickly snapped this picture. It&#8217;s a beauty I must say.<\/p>\n<p><em>Creativity\u00a0and wellness message for today: Be prepared, use your artistic eye to spot\u00a0creative expression\u00a0wherever it pops up.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>P.S. I&#8217;m in the process of changing my website and\u00a0this blog&#8217;s layout will change with it. I&#8217;m excited about the upcoming new way of communicating with you.
