Felt good claiming sacred\u00a0space for my inner process. Afterwards,\u00a0an intuitive thought\u00a0crashed into my awareness. Today became the day I cleared off my writing\u00a0desk. I have two desks\u00a0in my writer&#8217;s studio, one for the computer\u00a0and one\u00a0for writing longhand. My longhand desk has been covered\u00a0with organized piles of good\u00a0and important stuff for two years.<\/p>\n<p>Bringing up a big, brown garbage bag I began\u00a0to edit and toss.\u00a0Rhythmic\u00a0music, drumbeat and chimes accompanied my clear-out energy and I\u00a0made time to follow-through on many of the items that needed tending. I feel like a yoke has been lifted from my shoulders. Oddly it&#8217;s connecting me to my artist self again.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m reminded\u00a0of Twyla\u00a0Tharp&#8217;s\u00a0quote, &#8220;Art is the only way to run away without leaving home.&#8221; I feel like I ran away today, clearing out actually immersed me in my art all day!<\/p>\n<p><em>Creativity\u00a0and wellness message for today: Turn your intuitive thought into action and see where it takes you.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This morning I lit a candle and wrote in my journal\u00a0for the first\u00a0time in a long time.
